A 48ac farm located at Oulart, near Gorey, Co Wexford, is expected to join the plethora of smaller properties selling well at auction and by private treaty around the country.
With a guide price of around €8,500/ac, auctioneer Denis Howell, of Warren Estates, describes the farm as a fine block of land in three divisions with generous road frontage.
All in grass, the ground is in a good fertile state and, aside from about 4ac, which is of poorer quality, it is good for grazing or tillage.
The property is located two miles off the main Gorey/Wexford road (R741), two miles from Oulart village and 15 minutes' drive from Wexford and Gorey.
Mr Howell intends to offer the property for sale as a single lot or split into three.
Lot one features 22.7ac with a stream providing a water supply, while the other two lots -- 11ac and 14.6ac in size -- have no water supply.
The auction will take place at the Gorey offices of Warren Estates at 3pm on Tuesday, June 26.
