A 24.15ac non-residential farm between Ashford and Rathnew, Co Wicklow has been put on the market by Ganly Walters with an asking price of €300,000.

The land, which is currently used for tillage and grassland purposes, is laid out in a number of divisions across one block.

The property is surrounded by mature trees, as well as stone walls along its road frontage and the access lane.

The land would be suitable for all types of farming, according to Charles Erwin of Ganly Walters.

Additionally, the land is a zoned CE (Community Educational zone) within the Rathnew Development Plan which runs until 2019.

The same auctioneering firm is also dealing with the sale of another 37.27ac tillage farm at Curraghtown just outside Ashbourne, Co Meath.

The land is laid out in two large fields and is surrounded by hedging and has good road frontage.

The sale is by private treaty and an asking price of €365,000 is being quoted.
