Tipperary lakeside land guided at €100,000

Terryglass is a lovely lakeside village on the Tipperary shores of Lough Derg and land in the surrounding area is valued both for its farming potential and its tourism potential. There will be much interest in a parcel of 8.74ac of former development ground that is coming to auction with a guide price of €100,000.

Located 750m from the village, the lands were granted planning permission in 2009 for the construction of 27 dormer style houses. That permission has since lapsed and while Nenagh auctioneer Eoin Dillon is guiding the piece at agricultural prices, it may still have commercial value.

The property will be sold at auction at Paddy's Bar, Terryglass on Thursday, October 22 at 3.00pm.
