Teagasc issue Fasinex advice

Dairy farmers have been warned that the new Fasinex flukicide launched on the market is only licensed for use in dairy cows during the dry period and is not licensed for use in lactating cows.

Teagasc animal health expert Riona Sayers urged farmers to ensure they follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully when using the new Fasinex 240 dose.

"Farmers should note that Fasinex 240 is for use in dairy cows during the dry period only, and it is not for use in lactating cows," said Ms Sayers.
