The holding includes pastureland, forestry, a modern detached bungalow and a range of good, serviceable outbuildings.

The sale is being handled jointly by Murphy and Sons, Auctioneers, Tubercurry, and Declan Byrne and Co and comes to auction with a guide of €650,000

"It isn't often a farm of this size comes on the market in this region," explains auctioneer, John Murphy.

"The parcels are usually much smaller so we expect this sale to attract a wide range of customers."

The farm is located at Aclare, six miles west of Tubbercurry and two miles from Lough Talt.

Of the 90ac that make up the holding, 73ac are in pasture and 17ac in forestry comprised of a 15-year-old sitka spruce plantation delivering a small premium.

The land is described as summer grazing ground that is heavy in places.
