Village priest pays tribute at funeral for Northern Ireland man killed working on his family's farm
The funeral has taken place of a Co Fermanagh man who was killed on his family farm.
The community of Teemore, Fermanagh has been plunged into sadness following the tragic death of Gerard 'Gerry' Donohoe.
It's understood the accident involved a tractor and trailer as the 48-year-old was working last Thursday afternoon.
He was rushed to the South West Acute Hospital where he was placed on a life support machine.
However, he lost his fight for life in the early hours of Friday.
Mr Donohoe, a former employee of Quinn's Tile plant, where he worked for many years, was living at his parents' farm in the small village of Teemore.
More than 400 mourners attended the funeral at St Mary's Church, Teemore.
Parish priest Ultan McGoohan, who led the funeral service, said that Mr Donohoe's family have been left "traumatised" by the accident.
