Revamp for Castlelyons

Glanbia has sought planning permission for a redevelopment of Castlelyons Creamery in Cork.

The application seeks clearance for the demolition of all existing buildings.

The dairy processor is looking to replace these buildings and to build a new Centra retail outlet, which Glanbia will then lease.

In addition, planning is being sought for 22 three- and four-bedroom houses.
