A traditional farmhouse with a series of outbuilding on 25ac near Rosscarbery, Co Cork, is on the market by private treaty with a guide price of €250,000.

Located at Maulathanavalla, the property is approximately three miles to the north of Reenascreena, 10 minutes from Rosscarbery and 10 minutes from Dunmanway.

The house is a traditional farmhouse, renovated to modern standards, with an annex to the side. The accommodation includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two sitting rooms and a kitchen.

The outbuildings are dated but include a haybarn, a lofted stone-built store house and a number of useful sheds set in traditional courtyard style. The lands are in permanent pasture, in well- fenced fields and described as low-lying, south facing ground.

According to John Hodnett of selling agents Hodnett Forde, the property would be suited to someone who wanted to start a nursery business, a small equestrian centre, a hobby farm or as a second home.
