Pure land ideal for all farming types

Pure farmland is how auctioneer David Shee describes a 71ac Co Waterford farm to be sold at auction at the start of next month.

Located 16 miles from Waterford city, at Ballynabanoge, Ballylaneen, Kilmacthomas, the land is half a mile from Ballylaneen village and four miles from the main road between Cork and Waterford city. The holding comes with a guide of more than €10,000/ac.

Laid out in one block, the property is divided into seven fields with good fences and a mains water supply. The ground is well drained thanks to the Mahon River that flows along the eastern bounds and the property enjoys good road frontage.

All in grass, the land is suitable to most farming types.

The holding will be sold at the Park Hotel, Dungarvan, at 3pm on Thursday, March 1.
