Zetor tractors to exhibit on Eardly Agricultural stand
Zetor tractors are set to exhibit at the stand of Zetor dealer Eardly Agricultural Services at next week's National Ploughing Championships.
Following their appointment to represent Zetor tractors earlier this year, the team at Eardly Agricultural Services see the event providing a springboard for growth in the year ahead.
"Alongside the brand new, upgraded 90hp Proxima, we will be showcasing the very latest Forterra HSX 130 – one of the most powerful and best-equipped tractors in the Zetor portfolio and a market leader in terms of fuel consumption," said Michael Eardly.
Also on exhibit on the Eardly stand will be a number of models from the German-made Krone and Amazone range of farm attachments, for which the company is also an agent. The exhibit will be on stand no 394, row W, block 4.
Meanwhile, in other news from Zetor, Rainbow Engineering of Cloghan, Co Offaly has been appointed the main dealer for Zetor tractors by distributors McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill, Co Tipperary.
Established in 2001 by John Daly, Rainbow Engineering manufactures and sells a wide range of custom-made steel products that include concrete mixers, trailers and cattle pens.
Rainbow Engineering's appointment to represent Zetor marks its first expansion into agricultural machinery. The company joins the Zetor network at a time when the brand has embarked on a major expansion programme, the aim being to recapture its position as one of the top-selling tractors on the Irish market.
McHale Plant sales director, John O'Brien, said: "The appointment of Rainbow Engineering will strengthen our presence in a key area and is one of a number designed to help Zetor increase its share of the tractor market nationally."
