Louis Walsh and Vogue Williams arrived at the Ploughing Championships in style via helicopter - avoiding the tail back and traffic.

While it may have sounded like quite a glamorous way to get to Screggan for the 86th Ploughing championships Walsh insisted that he was not a fish out of water.

"I am from a small village in Mayo and we had turf, hay and all that stuff," Louis said. "It's a little bit of going back to my roots. Yesterday I was in Istanbul doing the X Factor Judge's Houses and it's a very different scene to that."

Walsh said he hadn't brought any wellington boots as he didn't think there was any need. "The sun is shining and it's a great day".

Meanwhile Vogue Williams dismissed the individual behind 'RTE Secret Producer' Twitter account as "just some loser".

The anonymous twitter account has been severely criticising the broadcaster’s culture.

It recently wrote dismissively about Vogue William's documentaries.

The user said that occasionally RTE will commission Vogue to “come out of her mansion now and then to patronise marginalised”.

“I don’t have a response to that. It’s just some loser setting up a twitter account to abuse people," she said.

"Things like that? They are like water off a duck’s back. I really don’t care. I have had lots of people coming up to me saying how much they like my documentaries so I don’t care what one anonymous person on Twitter says.

"Imagine setting up an account to solely abuse people? I hate that the papers have even picked up on it because it’s just giving that person what they want.”

She was joined at the National Dairy Council tent with Louis Walsh who was enjoying a break from X Factor rehearsals.
