Case's Farmall tractor packs a punch despite the small appearance

The new CaseIH Farmall C tractor, which made its debut at SIMA earlier in the year, will make its first Irish appearance at the Ploughing Championships.

With three models in the range, these are relatively small tractors suitable for small farming operations where compact dimensions are favourable. Overall height is 2.37m and the turning radius is a tight 3.75m.

There are three models, the Farmall 55C, 65C and 75C, with engine horsepowers of 55hp, 65hp and 75hp to match.

All are powered by a 3.2-litre, four-cylinder engine and transmission options include a 40kph 12x12 or 20x20 synchromesh transmission. There is also a creep option and both mechanical and power shuttle options depending on the purchaser's pocket.

Lift capacity at the rear linkage is 2.15t and up to four hydraulic remote services can be specified.

PTO options include 540 economy and ground speed, again depending on the customer's requirements.

CaseIH says that the cab is a new design including a high-visibility roof allowing the operator to easily see the loader at full height.

The Farmall C comes equipped with a radio with an integrated iPod dock and wide comfort seat with 15° pivot function, and the option of a high-quality passenger seat.
