A 69ac non-residential farm at Ardagh, Co Longford, with a good range of farm buildings and €10,000 in entitlements is expected to bring out the locals when it comes for auction this Friday.

A guide price of €7,000/ac is being quoted for the farm.

Located at Cloonahard, between the pretty village of Ardagh and Longford town, the farm is described by Dillon Murtagh of Murtagh Brother auctioneers as a good grazing farm, reseeded in recent times and enjoying excellent road frontage.

The fencing on the farm is said to be top quality, while water is supplied from the mains.

The property comes with a good farmyard that includes a six-bay, single-sided slatted shed, a good concrete yard, an old milking parlour and a range of older buildings.

The farm will be sold in the entire or in two lots.

Lot one extends to 43ac and includes the farm buildings.

The remaining 26ac make up the second lot.
