Munster double on market

TWO SUBSTANTIAL farms, one of 100ac and the other extending to 110ac, have just come on the market in the neighbouring counties of Cork and Limerick.

Offers have already been made on both properties, which are for sale by private treaty guided at €8,000 to €10,000.

The first of these is a 110ac farm at Liskelly, Buttevant, Co Cork, just three miles from the north Cork town.

Joint agents De Courcy Estate Agents in Limerick and Traleebased Walsh O'Sullivan are handling the sale.

The Buttevant property comes with river frontage, and includes the ruins of a twostorey house and a range of outbuildings, including a hay barn and old stone-built shed.

Auctioneer John De Courcy says the land is of excellent quality and suited to many farming enterprises.

The agents are also handling the sale of a 100ac farm at Ballycullane, Kilmallock, Co Limerick, which includes a bungalow which is in good structural condition but in need of some care and attention.

Like the Buttevant farm, this is also excellent quality land and, according to the agent, is sound, dry ground.
