Meath 110ac up for €825k by receivers

Receiver sales are a growing feature of the property market and reflect the times we live in.

Much of the land being offered to market is ground that had been previously purchased with a view to development during the property boom. With the upswing in agriculture, much of this property is being released onto the market at agricultural prices.

On the instructions of receivers Grant Thornton, joint agents Lisney Auctioneers and Smith Harrington are selling 110ac of good agricultural grazing ground at Prioryland, Duleek, Co Meath.

The farm comes with a guide price of €825,000, or €7,500/ac.

The land is located on the south side of the R152 and adjoining the boundary of the town of Duleek.

It has up to 1km of road frontage, which should make the holding attractive to farmers and non-farmers alike. However, the major interest in the private treaty sale of this land is expected to come from the farming community.
