McHale's to handle Zetor tractors and equipment

MCHALE Plant Sales Limited has taken over the distribution of Zetor tractors and products in Ireland.

McHale's, based in Birdhill, Co Tipperary, already distribute the Komatsu range of construction and plant equipment in Ireland, and in handling the Zetor range, will trade as Tractor Wholesale Limited.

The move comes after Zetor decided to bring in a distributor to help re-energise the brand in Ireland.

Maros Karabinos, managing director of Zetor Ireland, said: "Zetor has been present in Ireland for 65 years, and I believe McHale can refresh the brand here."

Michael McHale, managing director of McHale Plant Sales Limited, said: "This new tractor franchise represents a strategic new direction within our organisation, as Zetor is the first agricultural-specific portfolio within our wide range of machinery offerings.

"With our team, we are looking forward to working closely with the extensive Zetor dealer network in Ireland and Northern Ireland."

McHale's will stock Zetor parts for dealers and provide ongoing technical, training and support systems.

The company, established in 1952, also has a depot in Newcastle, Co Dublin.
