Limerick holding sells for €435k Newsdesk Newsdesk

A 47ac roadside holding located at Cooneen, Cappamore, Co Limerick was sold by public auction recently for €435,000.

Described by Tom Crosse of GVM Limerick as excellent quality land the farm has extensive road and river frontage.

The auction opened at €400,000 and the property was put on the market at €425,000. before selling for €435,000.

The buyers are two local farmers, one of whom adjoins the farm while the other has been renting the ground for the past 15 years. The vendors, representatives of William Burke deceased, retained a residence and outbuildings that originally came with the property.
