TURBARY rights are included in the sale of a 29ac residential property in Co Kerry that will be offered at public auction in September.

Although the farm is in need of some attention, auctioneer Tom Dillon, of Sherry FitzGerald Dillon Prendiville in Listowel, says it does not take much to visualise its potential.

The holding at Leitrim East, Moyvane, Co Kerry, includes a three-bedroom bungalow.

Mr Dillon, who is handling the executor's sale, is quoting a guide price of €165,000 for the entire. "The land has become overgrown over the years but there is great potential here to acquire a substantial holding or increase on existing acreage," he said.

The three-bedroom house included in the sale is set back from the roadway and accessed via a hardcore road surface.

Although it requires modernisation it could be extended and upgraded subject to planning permission.

The site offers some spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

Outside, there is a large block-built shed with a lean-to that could lend itself to several uses.
