Three fields form a 16ac piece of good grazing ground situated at Uskerty, four miles from Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, that comes to auction this Thursday.
Local auctioneer Joseph Coogan is guiding the sale at between €7,000/ac and €10,000/ac.
Mr Coogan regards the parcel as a valuable piece of agricultural ground that would suit any livestock farmer.
He expects lively interest when he brings it for auction this Thursday at 3pm at the Auction Rooms, Ballycomey House, Castlecomer.
Meanwhile, a 39ac farm located at Longfordpath, Urlingford, was withdrawn from auction last week by Mr Coogan.
The farm, which is located adjacent to the famous watering hole Mary Willie's was withdrawn after bidding stopped at €150,000.
The property is now on the market by private treaty.
