John Deere adds six new models to make 6R series nine-strong
Latest additions can be seen for first time in Ireland at Grass and Muck event in Co Tipperary
John Deere has added six new models to its 6R series with the introduction of what it call new "small-frame" and "medium-frame" models.
The 6R series now totals nine tractors, with a horsepower range of 105-210hp or 125hp to 240hp with Intelligent Power Management, for road and pto applications.
The latest additions to the 6R series can be seen for the first time in Ireland at the FTMTA Grass and Muck event at Gurteen Agricultural College, Co Tipperary.
All the new models feature the new John Deere tractor family styling. All offer new levels of power, performance and operator comfort, including improved suspension and cab visibility, more powerful hydraulics and increased lift capacities.
The new small-frame 6105R, 6115R and 6125R models are equipped with a Stage IIIB 4.5-litre four-cylinder PowerTech PVX engine rated from 105hp to 125hp.
The medium-frame 6130R model is powered by a 130hp four-cylinder engine mounted on a six-cylinder frame, while the other two medium-frame models, the 6140R and 6150R, are equipped with a Stage IIIB 6.8-litre, six-cylinder PowerTech PVX engine rated at 140hp and 150hp respectively.
All base their emission control systems on exhaust gas recirculation and, according to John Deere, meet the latest emission regulations using diesel-only PowerTech engines (no AdBlue required).
