IFA urges Dept to pay full SFPs
The IFA has called on the Department of Agriculture to ensure that payments are paid in full under the next tranche of SFP due to be paid to farmers from next Monday.
IFA president John Bryan said that all outstanding payments must be made immediately.
Up to 50,000 farmers are due REPS4 and AEOS payments and these payments must commence this week.
In relation to disadvantaged areas, around 11,000 farmers still remain to be paid, mainly due to the stocking rate not being met as this stage.
These must be paid when the criteria is met.
