Have you won the Case IH Farmall tractor?
THE lucky winner of the Case IH Farmall 65c tractor (right) worth over €40,000 will be announced at the Farming Independent stand at the National Ploughing Championships in New Ross, Co Wexford this week.
Almost 20,000 entries were received for the competition and the winner will be presented with the keys at the stand at 3pm tomorrow, Wednesday.
The Farming Independent stand is located at Stand number 427, Row N, Block 3, which is the main thoroughfare at the Ploughing Championships.
Farming Independent editor Declan O'Brien thanked all those who entered the 'Get on the CASE' competition for their participation.
"We had an overwhelming response to this competition and I hope the new owner will make good use of the tractor in the coming years," he said.
"I would also like to thank CASE IH and Springmount Tractors in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, our partners in this competition."
Meanwhile, the Farming Independent will be running its annual farmer survey again this year, asking farmers about expansion plans, GM technology, the IFA 'Day of Action' and many more topics. All entries in this survey will be entered into a special draw.
The Farming Independent staff will be on hand to meet and discuss any issues of interest with farmers and their families.
The news team of Declan O'Brien, Darragh McCullough and Caitriona Murphy look forward to meeting all our readers, while our specialist writers will also be on hand.
Columnist John Shirley and our new machinery correspondent Derek Casey will take to the stand on Tuesday and Wednesday, while our beef and sheep market analyst Joe Healy will be there on Wednesday and Thursday.
Caitriona Murphy will also be there on Wednesday to discuss all things equine.
