Guide of €545k for derelict 40ac Kerry farm

Declan O’Brien

A 40ac farm with a derelict cottage and farmyard near Lispole on the Dingle Peninsula is for sale in the entire or in lots and comes with a guide price of €545,000.

The village of Lispole is on road from Tralee to Dingle, six miles from Kerry port town.

The farm is at Goulane Ard, a mile from the village and in the foothills of the Slieve Mish Mountains.

It is located south east of the Conor Pass and minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, with Minard beach two miles away and Inch beach eight miles away.

The property is in four distinct divisions located a short distance apart from one another. Each division is made up of what Dingle auctioneer Anthony Fitzgerald describes as excellent quality pasture, with well-defined boundaries.

The holding also contains a derelict house and farmyard, which should form a solid basis for a planning application should a customer want to establish the holding as a residential farm.

The property can be bought in the following lots. Lot one includes the house and sheds on 1.9ac and comes with a guide of €75,000. Lot two comprises 20.5ac of land and comes with a guide of €225,000. Lot three, a 7ac parcel, is guided at €95,000, while Lot four is made up of 11ac section and is guided at €150,000.
