A well-equipped residential farm located close to Claremorris in Co Mayo has come on the private treaty market with a guide price set between €700,000 and €800,000 or between €7,000 and €8,000/ac.

Located just off the famous N17 at Barnacarroll about three miles from Claremorris, the lands extend to 93ac and comprise approximately 83ac of sound agricultural ground and 10ac of bogland.

According to Fintan Gilligan of selling agents DNG Gilligan, the lands are top class grazing ground laid out in soundly fenced fields that are well watered and come with substantial road frontage.

The residence, a 1950s bungalow that has been extensively remodelled and modernised, is reached by a tree lined, gravelled avenue. The accommodation includes three bedrooms (one ensuite), a bathroom, a sitting room, a fully fitted oaken kitchen set in an open dining area and a utility room.

Features include laminate timber floors throughout and a Blacksmith Stove in the living area. There is an extensive farmyard on the property with modern facilities that include a four-bay double slatted shed, a three bay hayshed with lean-to and cattle crush, a 10t meal bin, a walled silage slab and calving boxes.
