Fans of the blue and yellow range will be able to see the full New Holland combine harvester line-up when it goes on show tomorrow -- Wednesday, November 7 -- at the Hub in Kilkenny.

The Harvester event will be staged at the indoor exhibition centre where New Holland promises that everything from the smallest to the largest combine models will be exhibited, with special deals available on the day.

Expert advice will be on hand from four New Holland dealerships: Cavanagh's of Fermoy Ltd, JR Perry Ltd, Armstrong Machinery Ltd and R Kennedy and Co Ltd, as well as New Holland's combine product specialist, Nigel Honeyman.

The event will take place from 10am-8pm and everyone is welcome. Appointments are not necessary and local dealers can be contacted for more information.

One of the machines set to attract keen interest at the Hub event tomorrow will be the new CR 8080 combine from New Holland, which uses a twin rotor spiral design that propels the crop gently backwards to assist in threshing.

The grain tank on the CR 8080 has been increased in size by 1,000 litres to 11,500 litres in order to increase the interval between unloading for improved field productivity.

New Holland has also completely redesigned the unloading spout so that it directs the crop in a forward and outward direction for better distribution and a longer unloading distance.

New Holland developed a Tier 4A emissions standard engine along with partner, Fiat Power Train Industrial for the new CR models.

As with Tier 4a compliant tractors, AdBlue is injected into the exhaust system to neutralise the harmful exhaust emissions produced during combustion.
