Excellent Limerick holding draws interest from afar

Ronnie Bellew

HALF a million euro is the asking price for a 50ac holding of land which has just come on the market in Co Limerick.

Located at Inchiclare, close to the village of Banogue and three miles from Croom, the farm is attracting considerable interest from both livestock farmers and bloodstock investors.

Comprising two lots of 15ac and 35ac situated on opposite sides of a quiet country road, the land is of excellent quality says Bill Hanly of Hanly Donnellan auctioneers in Limerick.

The 15ac plot is stud-railed and borders the River Maigue, while the larger lot is laid out in eight paddocks.

The going rate for land in this part of the country is €10,000/ac, Mr Hanly sayscv.
