Equine breeders conference

Mare reproduction and Artificial Insemination are among a series of topics which will be discussed at the equine breeding conference taking place at the Greenmount Campus in Antrim tomorrow afternoon, starting at 1.30pm. Pre-registration is £35 (€49), and this includes a light supper.

The conference is being run by the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise and is aimed at professionals, as well as sport horse and thoroughbred breeders.

Presentations will cover the main aspects of breeding horses. Professional breeders, stable staff, vets and those with an interest in breeding will find the conference beneficial with vets eligible to claim 4.5 CPD points.
