THERE hasn't been much ground from North Dublin on the market of late so there should be plenty of interest next month when Pat O'Hagan of Savills brings a 51ac tillage farm at Ballbriggan and an 18ac parcel of tillage ground at Lusk with a guide of over €11,000/ac to auction.

The 51ac farm at The Matt Lane is 4km from Balbriggan and 5km from the Naul near Junction 6 off the M1.

The ground is described as 'real good tillage land' and will be sold in three lots.

Lot one, a 13ac rectangular parcel in stubble with frontage onto The Matt Lane, comes with a guide price of €140,000.

The second lot is a 15ac parcel adjacent to Lot one and similar in nature. It produced a crop of cauliflowers earlier this year and is guided at €160,000.

Lot three, the largest parcel, extends to 23ac and is laid out in three fields, the ground is in stubble having been in maize last year.

This portion also has good frontage onto Matt Lane with two entrances. This lot is guided at €275,000.

The Balbriggan land will be sold at auction at Buswell's Hotel, Molesworth St, Dublin at 3.30pm on Thursday, June 5.
