One of the first auctions on the calendar for 2015 is the sale of a 31.5ac non-residential parcel of tillage ground at Coolroe, Clonroche, Co Wexford. It comes to auction with a typical Wexford guide price of €12,000-14,000/ac.
Located just over 1km from the village of Clonroche, the land is in one division and has access onto two roads.
It is described by Anne Carton of selling agents PN O'Gorman as top quality tillage or grazing ground.
The property will be sold at auction at the Brandon House Hotel, New Ross at 3pm on Friday, February 6.
Not far away on the Carlow/Kilkenny border, and in another townsland called Coolroe, a 39ac parcel of tillage land near Graigunemanagh, Co Kilkenny is being brought to auction by auctioneer Ed Donohoe with a guide price of €470,000 or €12,000/ac.
Located 2.4km from Graiguenamanagh the land is laid out in four fields with plenty of road frontage and is sure to draw a lot of interest from among local tillage farmers.
The holding will be sold at auction at the Clubhouse Hotel, Kilkenny at 3pm on Friday, February 13.
