Compact farm on Limerick and Kerry border

In one of the first Limerick auctions of the year a parcel of ground on the Limerick Kerry border at Ballymacjordan, Abbeyfeale will be sold at auction later this month.

The farm extends to 33.5ac and comes with €4,900 in entitlements. It is expected to make in the region of €10,000/ac.

The holding is described by auctioneer Declan Woulfe as comprised of good grazing ground with plenty of road frontage, good farm buildings and a single storey dwelling in need of refurbishment.

The property can be bought as an entire or in two lots comprised of a 13.50ac piece along with the farmhouse and farm buildings. The second lot is made up of 20ac located across the road from the residence giving both divisions extensive road frontage.

There is a water supply to the property delivered by a private source on the lands and by the mains water supply.

Mr Woulfe is expecting lively interest in the sale as the property is located in a very active farming area.

The public auction will be held at the Devon Inn, Templeglantine, Co. Limerick. At 3pm on Wednesday, March 23
