A 47ac residential farm at Ardcath, Co Meath, sold after auction last Thursday for in excess of €535,000, or more than €11,300/ac. Located at Ardcath, four miles north of Ashbourne, the farm was sold by auctioneers Sherry FitzGerald Lannon of Drogheda.

Comprising a traditional two-storey farmhouse with extensive farm buildings, the 47ac farm is set on high quality farmland. It was withdrawn at €535,000 before negotiations pushed the price higher.

A 50ac non-residential farm located at Mooresides, Naul, Co Meath, was to be sold at the same auction but was sold prior to auction for an undisclosed sum.
