Big interest in Cork 'cracker'
A 'cracking' 79ac out-farm near Bandon in Co Cork, with a price tag of between €13,000 and €15,000 per acre, is attracting serious interest according to local auctioneer Henry O'Leary.
The farm, which is owned and used by a local dairy farmer, also carries a planning permission for a residential property.
"There's good deal of interest in the farm with bids edging towards the €15,000/ac, but there are also farm buildings and a residential property planning permission going with the sale," Mr O'Leary told the Farming Independent this week.
Paddocks
The farm is located at Killaneetig, equidistant from Balinadee and Killbritain, and ten miles from Bandon.
It is divided into two large level fields that could be used for any farming enterprise.
"The fields are divided into easily managed and well positioned paddocks, which makes the movement of livestock a simple task," Mr O'Leary added.
It's an "exceptional" property was his overall assessment.
