The Agricultural Science Association (ASA) is calling on unemployed agricultural science graduates to register their interest in a course for graduates who want to upskill.
The association wants to gauge the level of demand for a course for ASA members who have been out of work for a period of time.
The course, which would be run over one or more days, would be free to unemployed members.
ASA executive Rhoda Bermingham said the course content would be aimed at creating confident job-seekers and helping members to transfer their skills to other areas of the industry.

The ASA already runs a recruitment information service for graduates, which is designed to communicate job opportunities directly to ASA members.
