Key considerations before getting started

Where to start:

  • Attend a boot camp or similar outdoor fitness class to see how the business works
  • Look at your resources on farm
  • Check insurance and planning requirements
  • Upskill or identify an interested gym trainer
  • Work through a business plan
  • Research weight loss and fitness facilities already in your area

Physical requirements:

  • Hills
  • Tyres
  • Logs and planks
  • Cement blocks
  • Access to clean, dry shed if weather is poor
  • Fences, walls and trees
  • Fitness and medicine balls

Trainer requirements:
