AIBP helipad refusal

One of the country's leading beef processors has been told by An Bord Pleanála that the company cannot operate a helicopter pad at its plant in Co Tipperary unless it successfully applies for planning permission.

On a split decision the planning board agreed with the decision of South Tipperary County Council to rule that planning permission is required for the proposed development at the AIBP plant at Kilcommon More (North), Cahir, Co Tipperary.
