A 48ac parcel of land not far from Adare in Co Limerick is sure to be of interest to a range of customers.

Located in the townslands of Boherbraddagh and Guarranboy, in the parish of Croagh, the land comes with extensive frontage onto a country road, which is just off the main Limerick to Tralee road on the western side of Adare village.

The farm is laid out in six square fields with well-defined boundaries.

According to Siobhan Scanlon, of selling agents Scanlon Auctioneers, Rathkeale, the fertility of the land is in no doubt as it has been used to grow potatoes over several years.

While it will need to be reseeded by the new owners, it will make for powerful grassland.

No established guide has been set for the property, but similar land in the area has been sold for €8,000-10,000/ac.

The property will be auctioned at the Woodlands House Hotel, Adare, at 3pm on Friday, September 30.
