TWO parcels of Kildare land near one of the busiest motorway stops in the country are expected to command top prices when they go to auction next month.
The 19ac and the 18ac parcels are located at the Junction 14 Mayfield Interchange on the M7 routes to Limerick and Cork. Jordan auctioneers are guiding the parcels at €380,000 and €540,000 respectively.
Lot 1 of 19ac is zoned industrial and warehousing under the Monasterevin Local Area Plan.
Auctioneer Paddy Jordan says Junction 14 is one of only a few interchanges that can be accessed from both sides of the motorway and adds value to any property in the vicinity.
Lot 2 of 18ac is zoned agriculture with valuable potential in light of the imminent expiry of the current capital gains tax exemption. It is guided at €30,000/ac.
Both parcels will be auctioned on Tuesday, September 30 at 2pm at the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge.
