For the seventh year Dubai Duty Free will sponsor this year's Irish Derby at the Curragh, details of which were announced at the launch in Dublin.

Ireland's richest flat race will this year carry a purse of €1.25m.

The three-day festival kicks off on Friday June 27 with an evening meeting starting at 5.30pm, followed by the feature race on the Saturday at 5.25pm. All three days will have eight races, making for a busy weekend at the Kildare track.

Style icon and reality TV personality Millie Mackintosh is official style ambassador for the festival and will form part of the judging panel to seek out the most stylish lady on Derby Day.

This year's most stylish lady prize is worth almost €20,000.

A unique auction of racing helmets that were transformed into works of art by a selection of designers and personalities will be auctioned online, with the auction closing to coincide with the Derby Ball at the K Club on the Friday evening. All proceeds will go towards the Jack and Jill Foundation.

A variety of ticket and dining packages are available to book in advance at www.curragh.ie, including a special ticket with admission and transport from Dublin city centre priced at €40.
