PURCELL Properties are jointly bringing to the market Waterford City pub The Park Inn.

The Park Inn is being sold on the instructions of Mr Bob Tweedy Senior who is retiring after some 39 years in charge of the business.

The pub is situated on Paddy Brown Road, opposite Waterford Institute of Technology and close to Waterford Industrial Estate with 5,500 employees.

The Inn is bounded by a host of residential developments and it is estimated there are approximately 2,500 homes within walking distance.

The premises is configured over two floors and provides some 7,000 sq ft with a spacious front lounge of 1,800 sq ft adjoining Bad Bob's Bar (2,100 sq ft). It also has stores and a cold room.

There is "excellent" first floor living accommodation.

The auctioneers are quoting a guide price of €650,000.
