UK-headquartered property group U+I has commenced work on the Ballymoss House site in the Sandyford Business District in South Dublin.

Working in partnership with Collen Construction, the company is aiming to deliver over 73,000 sq ft of modern office space through the refurbishment and redevelopment of the property's existing structure.

Commenting on the commencement of the works in Sandyford, U+I's Director of Delivery, Mark Richardson, said: "Ballymoss House is part of a pipeline of approximately a quarter of a million square feet of office space that we are currently developing in Dublin, with similarly exciting redevelopment works at Donnybrook House and Carrisbrook House in Dublin 4, all showcasing U+I's commitment to the offices and workspaces of the future".

Mr Richardson described Dublin as one of U+I's "key regions", and said it shared many of the positive characteristics the company sees in London and Manchester.

Tommy Drumm, Managing Director of Collen Construction, said: "We are delighted to partner with U+I for the refurbishment and redevelopment of Ballymoss House.

"Our experienced team has a strong reputation for delivery on large projects, and we look forward to bringing this development to fruition over the coming months."
