Tenant sought for €50,000 a year retail unit in prime spot
CBRE is looking for a tenant for one of the most recognisable properties in Malahide, Co Dublin.
In a statement, the agents said they had been instructed by Gannon Properties to "source a suitable tenant" for Fragrance House by the Malahide Marina at a quoting rent of €50,000 per annum.
The building is situated along the quayside in the heart of the marina, which is well known for its large residential complex, shops, Geisha restaurant and a boatyard with capacity for some 170 vessels, within walking distance of Malahide village.
The property comprises a detached retail showroom extending to a total gross area of 612sqm with a dedicated car park of 31 spaces. Planning permission has been granted for a change of use from showroom to a retail shop and cafe/restaurant, with ancillary off-licence and take away use.
CBRE's Niamh Sheahan commented: "Following the successful sale of the two former BJ Marine Building's in Dublin's South Docklands last year, we would anticipate interest from a variety of leisure, restaurant and tourist- related occupiers given the property's unique waterfront location and proximity to a large catchment and affluent demographic."
The property is available to let under the terms of a new long-term lease and the landlord will consider a variety of uses subject to the necessary planning consent, Ms Sheahan added.
