Rent cut to €78k for Blu Bar

The asking rent for The Blu Bar and Renaissance Night Club in Tallaght, Dublin 24, has been cut by 22pc to €78,000 a year.

It was brought to the market last year with an asking price of €750,000 or a rent of €100,000 a year but there were no takers at those figures.

Part of the Tuansgate complex, it was developed by Tom McFeely and has been closed for almost three years.

Located at ground, mezzanine and basement levels, extending to 1,595sqm, it is fitted as a lounge bar at ground and mezzanine level with separate access to the basement night club.

John Hughes of CBRE, who is handling the letting, says the premises "occupy an excellent trading position overlooking the surface car park for The Square Shopping Centre".

It is close to UCI cinemas, Leisureplex, Tallaght Regional Hospital and the Tallaght Institute of Technology.

Located nearby is the Plaza Hotel and the many industries on Belgard Road. The property is centrally located in Tallaght with a population of over 70, 000 people.
