The role will involve responsibility for developing new business and managing existing relationships with clients. Candidates should have substantial property experience and established knowledge of and relationships with leading banks and receivers, especially in Ireland and the UK.
REA has been in operation for 10 years under the management of Eimer O'Keeffe and Philip Farrell. In the last 18 months it has seen 12 new offices opening, bringing its nationwide offices to 46.
REA chairman Harry Sothern said with a 25pc increase in planning permissions in the first quarter of this year, "we want to fully capitalise on the recovery and our new CEO will be central to that".
