A development site known as Market Square, Rathdrum, Co Wicklow, has come to the market and agents Cushman & Wakefield are guiding €700,000 for it.
It comes with planning permission for a 126-bedroom nursing home. However, the agents point out that, given its Town Centre zoning and central location, it is also suitable for a residential or retail development.
Extending to 1.45 acres, the fully serviced brownfield site contains a number of derelict structures. It also benefits from dual frontage onto Brewery Lane and Back Lane and is bounded by buildings to the east and a car park to the west.
