I’ve been predicting here for some time that the Government will lose power at the next election over its inability to sort out the housing crisis. The Government parties must have seen this danger too, yet, despite unlimited resources, they have been unable to identify the radical actions needed to haul them from the quicksand of bureaucracy, muddled policies and unintended consequences.
