Over €600,000 generated in sales of six residential properties at DNG
More than €600,000 was generated from the sale of six residential properties at DNG's recent Leinster auction. The top price of €220,00 was achieved for a three bedroom detached bungalow, requiring renovation on a 0.1 acre site known as The Arch, Edmondstown Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. The price was 10pc over its €200,000 reserve.
In the popular coastal village of Omeath, Co. Louth, a three bedroom, mid-terrace house, 3 Mullach Alainn, sold for €123,000 or 64pc over its €75,000 reserve. It was described as suitable for a first time buyer or holiday home.
Also in Co Louth a two bedroom, ground floor apartment, 3 Cois Croinn, Saltown, sold for €86,000 or 19pc over its €72,000 AMV. Agent DNG Duffy described it as being within easy access for Dundalk's town centre and the M1 motorway.
In Ballivor, Co. Meath, a large, three bedroom, end of terrace house known as 34 Stonyford, sold for €123,000 or 23pc over its AMV. Agent DNG Royal County described it as being in need of modernisation.
In New Ross, Co. Wexford, an old terraced house at 100 Mary Street, requiring complete renovation and modernisation sold for €53,000 or 122pc over its €25,000 guide price. Local agency DNG Property People described it as an investment opportunity in the heart of Wexford town.
