Occupier sought for Sandyford eaterie

Tara Fitzsimons

BNP Paribas Real Estate is looking for a restaurant operator for a premises in Sandyford in South Dublin.

The property is located above Londis in the Apex Business Centre, and the premises extends to about 232sqm.

Annual rent of €40,000 is being sought, along with a new lease. BNP say the Apex Business Centre is "strategically located" on Blackthorn Drive and is "ideally positioned" to cater for the large workforce and growing residential population in the immediate area.

The property immediately adjoins Beacon South Quarter opposite Beacon Court. Both developments have a large business and residential population, most notably the Beacon Hotel and Beacon Hospital. The Beacon area of Sandyford has seen a huge amount of development in recent years and has continued to expand despite the property slowdown nationwide.

"Enjoying excellent profile and branding opportunities the entrance to the restaurant is via a fully glazed glass stairwell to the side of the building," said BNP.

"There is a large seating area, toilets, large kitchen which includes wash-up and staff room.

"The property is being offered to let as is, which includes a fitted kitchen," the agents added.
