The nominees for the upcoming Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards have been revealed, and they show a strong mix of industry players.

The shortlist for Commercial Agency of the Year has seen six firms make the shortlist: Savills, TWM, Knight Frank, Murphy Mulhall, Bannon, and JLL.

Savills has acted as agent on a slew of major deals this year. Among the sales they have been agents for was the Ballsbridge Hotels site which was bought by a Chartered Land for an estimated €170m.

TWM meanwhile has worked on a number of deals, notably doing business on behalf of Igal Ahouvi.

Knight Frank meanwhile worked on the sale of 3.7 acres of land on Ballsbridge that formed part of the BankCentre site. It was bought by developer Johnny Ronan for in the region of €70m.

JLL is working on the sale of a stake in St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre among other projects.

Bannon and Murphy Mulhall meanwhile have been particularly strong both on sales and asset management.

Bannon is managing the Hazel Portfolio of regional shopping centres, which are on the market with an estimated guide price of in the region of €115m.

There are nine other categories completing the line up, with the awards themselves being dished out at a gala dinner in November. For full details see
