Morrissey's to handle sale of Bridge Inn
MORRISSEY'S have been appointed as sale agents over a pub in west Dublin with an asking price of some €450,000.
The agents are selling The Bridge Inn in Chapelizod.
The licensed premises extends to just under 360m and comprises a public bar, lounge bar, kitchen and residential accommodation.
The agents said the property would be "ideally suited to an owner- operator and capable of enjoying a quality local profitable business".
The premises is currently let to an operator on a short-term lease and "there are therefore no particulars of trade available".
The property is, however, being sold with vacant possession.
"All offers should be submitted to our offices not later than 3pm on June 5," said Morrissey's.
This is the latest in a rash of licensed premises being brought to the market at present.
Morrissey's alone lists more than 30 licensed premises available for sale at present, while rivals CBRE are also very active in the market.
While the pub market was decimated during the bust, there are now signs of life in the sector. Earlier this month, Morrissey's brought a portfolio of four pubs to the market and that is a trend that is likely to continue.
