Mark Reynolds is to take up the role of deputy managing director at Savills Ireland with immediate effect. The move comes as current MD, Angus Potterton, assumes a greater role with the Savills European Board and wider business throughout Europe.

Mr Reynolds steps into the position having spent the last 12 years as the head of the development and consultancy division at Savills, and eight years prior to that in various departments including retail, receiverships and consultancy both in Ireland and in London.

Commenting on Mark's appointment, Angus Potterton said: "Savills' growth in Ireland and throughout Europe has been underpinned by the people we have on our side - and Mark's career spanning 20 years at Savills, is testament to his commitment to our organisation.

"Mark's knowledge, experience, and passion for what he does is remarkable, and I am delighted to have someone as dedicated as Mark step into the role as deputy managing director.

In his new role, Mark will support Mr Potterton at management level on a day-to-day basis, helping to run the Irish business, while also continuing to lead Savills' development and consultancy division.

Mark recently lead the redevelopment, and sale to Google, of the Bolands Quay scheme. Due for completion this year, the development will see the creation of a new city campus comprising two new office towers, one new residential tower alongside the restoration of several protected structures.
